Why we print the weight
In most markets, pillows are sold by look and squeeze. Two pillows that feel the same in the shop can hold very different amounts of fibre, and the one that is short on fill goes flat within months. By then the receipt is long gone.
Fill weight is the single number that tells you how much pillow you are buying. Nobody in the shop can fake it and anyone at home can check it. So we put it on the card, in grams, and we guarantee it.
How we keep it
- Filled by weight, not by eye. Each pillow is filled to the weight on its card before it is closed.
- Fibre named, not hidden. The card names the fibre: imported high-class hollow fibre in Cloud, premium hollow fibre in Classic.
- Backed for a year. If a Larkwell pillow loses its shape under normal use, splits, or is found lighter than declared within a year, we exchange it. See the guarantee.
Check it yourself
The numbers add up.
Total weight on the card is the fibre plus the cotton shell.
- Larkwell Cloud
1,000 g fibre + 100 g shell = 1,100 g
Weigh it on any luggage or kitchen scale.
- Larkwell Classic
850 g fibre + 150 g shell = 1,000 g
Weigh it on any luggage or kitchen scale.
- Weighing tip
Weigh the pillow without its pillowcase. A hanging luggage scale is easiest: hook it through a loop of string around the pillow.
The name
Why Larkwell?
The lark is the bird that sings at first light. Our emblem puts it in front of the morning sun, because a pillow is judged by how you wake up. Larkwell: up with the lark, rested and well.
We make our pillows in Rawalpindi, for homes, hotels and hostels across Pakistan.
Sleep on the weight you paid for.
